mega-update on the way

We've been busy, busy, busy the past few months and have lots to blog about. I figure if I say that I'm going to blog about things then I'll feel obligated to. So, I *promise* a bunch of posts before the end of the week.

We'll start off with Memorial Day. We went to the coast to see my college roommate, Jenny and her family. Jenny and I took the boys to the beach two days in a row and they LOVED it! (once again, the pictures are in backwards order...I just don't have enough forethought to correct that)

Yesterday we met Skye at the park. It was sheer coincidence that they both had on green adn white striped shirts!

...like car wash man

Nothing brings Griffin greater joy than cleaning...I'm serious. So, this morning when I was going to vacuum, he told me he wanted to vacuum "like the car wash man." I couldn't possibly make this stuff up. That meant, removing the hose of the vacuum and using it as a hand held. I figured if he was going to do that, he might as well vacuum the sofas!

Then, he inspects his work for quality control.

Yes, folks, he's for hire! But, by the way (and again, I'm 110% serious), he told me I was supposed to pay him a dollar (just like the car wash man when the car is all done).

first trip to the movies

Last Sunday we took Griffin to see Disney's movie, "earth." Because I thought it was going to have a lot of live animal footage, I thought he'd like it. Well....we did make it through the entire movie (which was a plus).

Danny was VERY embarrassed that I brought a camera to the movies. But, he humored me.

Aunt Maria visited!

Aunt Maria came to visit a couple week ago...she helped clean Griffin's art supplies. Griffin loves to clean, Maria loves to organize, it's a match made in heaven.

A perfect pair...they're for hire.

The Tarheels had their first game yesterday and it was a good day to wear Carolina Blue! You can see all Griffin's ball skills below.
