way too cute

So, instead of ignoring the blog and continuing to feel guilty that I haven't updated it, here's a link from my friend, Alisha's blog. She took some pictures of Griffin on Saturday and I LOVE them!

Burlington City Park

What a super-fun day! We met Ella and Skye (and their moms) at Burlington City Park. We brought a picnic lunch and bikes. These are our big FOUR year olds (who have been friends since they were about 4 months old)...

Is this not the cutest monkey in a tree you've ever seen?!

Ella has always loved to swing. She'd sit there for HOURS if you let her!

lookin' a little tired (?)

and lookin' a lot happy!

We rode this ride three times!

Happy Birthday, Aggie

A couple weeks ago we celebrated Aggie's birthday (her 21st if you must know!)

Nothing like a little healthy Wii competition to start the weekend off...

Some random handy-man was kind enough to lay a moisture barrier under my house (sadly, no photo of his equally goofy assistant)

this woman is the handy-man's sister...are you surprised?

There was a rock concert in honor of the maraca-playing birthday girl (can a rock band have an accordian?!?)

Thor was so excited about the party, he had to wear a diaper (just in case he wetted himself!) Aren't you embarrassed for him? (but isn't he cute...in an ugly-cute way!)

We love you, Aggie poo!

Aggie's birthday dinner

We went out to Bert's Seafood for dinner. YUMMMMMMM!

riding to the lunch counter

Right around the corner from our house is an old-fashioned lunch counter. There's a pharmacy on one side and a luncheonette on the other. So, last week we rode bikes to the lunch counter.

"Come on, Mommy! You're too slow!"

No pics of lunch, but we all know ice cream dessert really is the best part!

Griffin paid the bill...

...and got the change. And, the lady working the counter commented on how nice his manners were!

yummmm!

Watch out...there's a new baker in town.

He cracks his own eggs (not into the big bowl, but a small one and then, when shell-free, the big one)...

measures his own vanilla...

watches his creation like a pro...
and enjoys the fruits of his labor!

and, in case you're wondering. Yes, he cleans up!
