4th of July

We had lots of fun on the fourth. First, we rented a row boat and rowed around the lake. Then, we went downtown to a local festival where Griffin loved the live music and had a great time dancing!!

Our neighborhood pool opened last week and Griffin was really excited to play in the baby pool. Danny and I were both (pleasantly) surprised by how well G did by himself! Although I didn't bring my camera, today he was jumping into the big pool and going under. I predict that by the end of the summer, we just might have a real swimmer!!!

mega-update on the way

We've been busy, busy, busy the past few months and have lots to blog about. I figure if I say that I'm going to blog about things then I'll feel obligated to. So, I *promise* a bunch of posts before the end of the week.

We'll start off with Memorial Day. We went to the coast to see my college roommate, Jenny and her family. Jenny and I took the boys to the beach two days in a row and they LOVED it! (once again, the pictures are in backwards order...I just don't have enough forethought to correct that)
